Waymakers District Art Contest

Decorative Photo

Newport-Mesa Unified School District, in conjunction with the local non-profit, Waymakers, would like to invite you to participate in an art contest for students within the district!

Theme: What Sparks Joy?

Students are encouraged to think about what makes them happy and helps relieve their stress in a healthy way and then use those ideas to create an original art piece. We encourage students to reflect on these stressful times and think about what activity may have helped them the most. Some potential activities include: reading books, exercising, finding new hobbies like taking up art, but the possibilities are endless!

For any questions, please contact Brittany Bonilla at 562-685-6274 or bbonilla@waymakersoc.org.

To request a complimentary art supply kit, please contact Gloria Rios at 714-424-5016 or grios@nmusd.us.
